The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, in conjunction with members of the bar participating through the West Virginia Bankruptcy Listserv, propose the attached Chapter 13 model plan be effective April 1, 2023.  Proposed changes to the current model plan are denoted in red text.  Public comment thereto may be made to james_voithofer@wvnb.uscourts.gov by the close of business on March 31, 2023.  Consistent with N.D.W. Va. LBR 3015-1, parties may use the current model plan for six months following the effective date of the new model plan, after which the court will accept only the new model plan.
