Disclosure of Publicly Funded Seminars

In September 2006, the Judicial Conference adopted a private seminars disclosure reporting policy that requires educational program providers and judges to disclose certain information relevant to judges' attendance at privately-funded educational programs. The rationale and purpose for the policy are discussed in detail in a "Statement of Purpose" that was prepared by the Judicial Conference Committee on the Judicial Branch.
