Information on using the LISTSERV

In an outreach effort between the Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of West Virginia and the bankruptcy bar, and in an effort to increase professionalism, collegiality, and mentor opportunities, the court has established an email listserv account open to any and all bankruptcy attorneys that wish to participate. The listsev will provide a forum for bankruptcy attorneys to inquire of, or make comments to, attorneys from the debtor bar, the creditor bar, governmental agencies, or the court on or about any bankruptcy related topic.

The service is free of charge, and the only qualification of membership is that the participating person be an attorney that practices bankruptcy. To subscribe or ask to be removed from the LISTSERV, please send a message to Chris_Daniel@wvnb.uscourts.gov

The LISTSERV is being hosted by the Eastern District of New York. To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list, just send mail to WVNB_AttnyGroup@nyed.uscourts.gov. This is called "sending mail to the list," because you send mail to a single address and LISTSERV makes copies for all the people who have subscribed.

The court is not responsible for the content of any message sent to the listserv and does not endorse any viewpoint discussed therein. No confidential information should be submitted, and individual members should take into account the fact that all members of the listerv will be able to view and/or respond to messages.

You must be a subscriber to the LISTSERV before sending and receiving messages, if you are not subscribed your message will be returned undeliverable.

To subscribe, ask to be removed, or general inquiries, please send a message to Chris_Daniel@wvnb.uscourts.gov
